Circa 1830. A good quality William IV circular drum table. The solid top with a simple moulded fore-edge and deep frieze with eight drawers, four of them are faux. Each of the drawers has a beaded fore edge and turned knob handle. The top revolves and stands on an elegant stem which fluted, with lotus leaves towards the base, and has a well carved collar, resting on a concave triangular platform base with three rondels on each corner, with a simple frieze with three turned bulbous feet beneath. The table has been repolished recently (traditionally).
