Object Description
Circa 1830. A good William IV mahogany library table. The solid mahogany rectangular top with rounded corners is hinged and has a ratchet mechanism for adjusting. The top has a simple moulded edge with a frieze beneath, the table rests on a classic turned and tapering fluted stem finishing on a bulbous section, all resting on three elegant cabriole legs with extended C scrolls to the back and a carved, curled toe.
