Provenance: Mellors & Kirk Auctioneers (27 June 2019), lot m 1013, for which the catalogue provided the provenance of ‘By descent in the Wellesley family, possibly W R A Pole-Tylney-Long-Wellesley (1813-1863) to the late vendor, a descendent of Henry Wellesley, 1st Baron Cowley, G C B (1773-1847)’.
