Object Description
Circa 1840. Quality William IV pollard oak open bookcase. The simple moulded cornice with pollard oak frieze, with three sections each with three adjustable shelves. The shelves have solid oak facings and are beaded. The base has one long drawer with two short drawers each side, beneath this there are four cupboards in quarter sawn oak, framed in pollard oak, matching the pilasters and the cornice. All resting on an enclosed breakfront plinth which follows the form of the bookcase.
