Object Description

Circa 1830, William IV rosewood tilt-top breakfast table. The circular top is in figured, mirror-matched rosewood and rounded cross-banded edges. This is over a beaded cross-banded frieze, and is all supported on an impressive large acanthus-carved baluster stem. It leads on to a curved, quadripartite platform base over fluted bun feet with hidden castors.
