Object Description
Circa 1840. William IV rosewood Victorian work box. The rectangular top with rounded edges in beautifully Brazilian rosewood above a frieze drawer with working lock and cedar lined drawer and a shaped sliding basket in figured rosewood. All supported on a shaped octagonal column over a quadripartite platform base with neat bun feet with hidden brass casters.
