Object Description
Circa 1815. A quality Edinburgh rosewood breakfast table probably by William Trotter. The top in book matched well figured rosewood, with classic Trotter beading, on the fore edge and below the frieze. The table top is hinged, and held in place by a pair of brass clasps. All resting on a stylish scumbled turned and fluted stem, which rests on a concave platform base with four hipped saber legs, finishing on large cast brass and gilded hair paw feet with the original brass castors beneath.
