WMF Cigar box with enamel detailing

Object Description

WMF Cigar box with hinged lid. Impressed Art Deco style decoration to lid, infilled with green and red enamels. Maker’s marks including impressed WMF logo to underside and ’33’ to interior.

Object Condition

Good. No dents or distortion. Hinge in good working order. Some wear and very light scratches to exterior. Slight wear to handle. Slight flaking to enamels. Flake to one corner of box. A few pale stain specks to interior. One metal tab holding wooden lining is missing to lid interior.
