Andrew decided to launch Malby Maps in 2012 due to his interest for travel, adventure, and the Malby family heritage in the world of cartography, globe making and maps (he could fly a plane before he could drive a car and has summitted a number of the highest mountains in the world, and has also been known to jump on his bike to cycle a few long-distant routes (Lands End to John O'Groats, London to Paris and London to Dublin all in the aid of charity)).
Malby Maps is not your ordinary seller of maps. We have an aim to create your 'Geographical Memories' by recycling and upcycling forgotten vintage maps by creating handmade unique and personalised pieces of map artwork, map lampshades, map greetings cards, map paperweights, map doorstops, silk aviator map cushions and many other commissioned items. Malby Maps has a vast collection of vintage maps (thousands in fact) that are used in the creation of its customers 'Geographical Memories' on a daily basis.
Malby Maps also has a collection of antique and vintage maps that are affordable yet still collectable.
