Rena Neville

Art market and legal professionals who partner with art market participants to resolve the challenges they face when implementing the EU 5th Money Laundering Directive.

We bring familiarity with the relevant regulatory and international legal landscape combined with knowledge of the realities and pressures facing art market sales teams. This rare combination of legal, regulatory and art market experiences are what sets Corinth apart..

Rena Neville, Director, is a New York qualified lawyer with decades of international art market experience.

During her 30-year career at Sotheby’s, half her time was devoted to applying her legal skills as its first Global Compliance Director, as well as European General Counsel & Global Head of Litigation.

More recently and for more than ten years, she was part of the leadership team for global business and client development. She has consistently worked internationally and has split her time living between London and New York.

Paula Trommel, Deputy Director brings art market legal and regulatory experience to Corinth Consulting.

Paula has extensive international experience in designing and implementing compliance and anti-money laundering programs as part of her work at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) as well as the Fine Art Group. This compliments her experience in Christie’s legal department, where she worked on projects across Europe, putting her language skills as well as her legal and regulatory knowledge to use.
