Shapero Rare Books is an internationally renowned dealer in antiquarian books and works on paper. Our experts have over 100 years’ experience in the book world with particular expertise in fine illustrated books from the 15th to the 20th Century, particularly natural history, travel, guidebooks and Russian works. In 2014 we launched Shapero Modern, a modern and contemporary prints department which curates several shows annually on topical themes in our collection.
Shapero Rare Books is based on New Bond Street where most of our stock is available and on public display, and Shapero Modern a short walk away on Maddox Street.. We also exhibit at major international fairs including TEFAF Maastricht, Masterpiece London, and Art Miami.
