Classic Antique Fairs

Classic Antique Fairs have brought back the prestigious Antique and Arts Fairs that are synonymous with the Midlands and the NEC. With over 70 specialist dealers planned for each the three Fairs offering a wide variety of high-quality pieces for the discerning collector to the occasional bargain hunter

Classic Antique Fairs celebrates Spring at the NEC (Birmingham), located in Hall Eleven, on Friday 28th March until Sunday 30th March.

To celebrate the Centenary of the Art Deco or Art Moderne Movement, the majority of the over 70 dealers exhibiting have some key pieces from the Art Deco period to show collectors. Pieces include Val St Lambert vases by Charles Graffart and Joseph Simon from Mark West Glass; Art Deco furniture by Harry & Lou Epstein, Hille, Waring & Gillow from Jeroen Markies Art Deco. Georg Jensen from Dansk Silver, signed Art Deco jewellery from Plaza Jewellery and T Robert. Lalique vases depicting Bacchantes and Ondine and sculpture by Pierre le Faguays from Solo Antiques. David Hickmet Fine Art offer exceptional pieces by Josef Lorenzl and a selection of Lalique car mascots.

If, however Art Deco is not your thing, there are also pieces from the Roman period to the 1950s for sale. A selection of disciplines and dealers include Treen from Opus Antiques: 19th Century animal portraits from Blackbrook Gallery; Glass from Glass of Ages; Ceramics from Scottow Antiques and Julian Eade, Porcelain from Marmaduke’s Emporium; Art Nouveau glass from M & D Moir; Silver from Stephen Kalms Antiques and Marsh Antiques; Watches from Scarab and Les Petits Tresors; Clocks from Kembery Antique Clocks; Tea Caddies from Mark Goodger Antiques. Sculpture from Garret and Hurst, and Design items from Scottish and Scandinavian Design. Or perhaps Fabergé amethyst chick pendant from T. Robert would be the Easter present.
