Object Description
For sale is this really stunning Archibald Knox gold bracelet. The sketch for this bracelet appears on page 49 in the Liberty jewellery sketch book and that shows the design as a series of repeating swallow tails – a classic Knox motif. This rare piece will appear in Steve Martin’s forthcoming revised third edition of “Archibald Knox”. This is model 8003 in the Liberty jewellery sketch book which includes an annotation stating these were made with four or five panels – this has four. Authentic gold bracelets by Knox are rare.
It is in excellent original condition with a fine original clasp and safety catch. The gold is a deep colour and I believe the bracelet must be at least 15 carat gold,
