Object Description
This unique antique brooch features a spider and fly comprising of a collection of rose cut diamonds, rubies, emeralds and demantoid garnets set on silver topped on 14ct yellow gold in classic Victorian style.
There are over 0.50 cts of grain set rose cut diamonds within the legs and body of the spider, and the body and wings of the fly. The ruby eyes are approx 0.04cts in total, the central emerald is approx 0.15cts, with 7 demantoid Garnets at approx 0.35cts total.
The pin measures 35mm wide, and 45mm deep from the wing of the fly to the bottom of the longest spider leg.
This brooch is topped with silver and crafted from 18 carat yellow gold.
