Sapphire And Diamond Cluster Ring in Yellow Gold.
Art Deco circa 1920’s. 18 carat yellow gold (unmarked). Claw set with a oval cut Natural mid blue sapphire. Complemented by an outer cluster of eight old cut diamonds.
Total diamond content measures approximately 1.20 carat. Diamonds H Colour, VS/SI Clarity. Sapphire measures approximately 1 carat. Diamonds and sapphire are all claw set. Plain band shank.
To the reverse the sapphire and diamonds are set into open backed settings, this allows the light to shine through.
The head of the ring measures approximately 13 mm width and 14.6mm length.
This would make a wonderful dress or engagement ring.
