A beautiful Diamond Cluster Ring in a rub over setting, circa 1930.
A central circular old cut diamond, surrounded by two borders of old cut diamonds in a platinum rub over setting, approximately 1.30 carat in total. Diamonds are H colour, VS/SI clarity. The head of the ring measures 13mm in width and is supported by a decorative pierced out gallery with raised shoulders leading to an 18 carat Yellow Gold plain band shank. To the reverse the diamonds are set into open backed settings, this allows the light to shine through.
This would make a perfect engagement or dress ring and be sure to attract plenty of attention.
