Striking Blue Zircon Solitaire Ring, circa 1930’s.
This vivid rectangular cut blue zircon is set with four claws in a raised pierced out gallery, and measures approximately 2.3 carats. Knife edge shoulders are grain set with approximately 0.02 points of diamonds to each side, H colour and VS clarity, in a platinum millegrain edged setting. A plain band shank in 18ct yellow gold, marked 18CT PLAT, with the makers mark W&H. The head of the ring measures 6.5mm across. To the reverse the zircon and diamonds are set into open backed settings, which allows the maximum amount of light to shine through.
This lovely Zircon ring would be perfect as an engagement ring.
