A statement Oval Emerald and Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1920.
A beautiful vivid saturated green emerald of approximately 1.25 carats, complemented by fifteen old mine cut diamonds. The total diamond content measures approximately 0.75 carat, H/I colour and VS/SI clarity. The emerald and diamonds are claw set in a decorative pierced out gallery leading to a non marked 18ct yellow gold plain band shank. The head of the ring measures 11mm across. To the reverse the emerald is set in an enclosed, domed gold back. The diamonds are set in open backed settings to allow the light to shine through.
This lovely ring would be ideal as a dress ring or anniversary gift.
