Object Description
Very wearable Sapphire And Diamond Cluster Ring, Circa 1930.
Crafted in 18 carat yellow gold with indistinct 18 carat stamp. Claw set with a circular cut mid blue sapphire. Complemented by an outer cluster of seven old cut diamonds. Total diamond content measures approximately .70 carat. Diamonds H Colour, VS Clarity. Sapphire measures approximately .50 carat. Knife edge shoulders lead to a plain band shank. The head of the ring measures 10mm in width. To the reverse the sapphire and diamonds are set into open backed settings, this allows the light to shine through.
This would make a wonderful dress or engagement ring.
