Blue Zircon and Diamond Ring. Art Deco, Circa 1930.
18 carat yellow gold and platinum set, marked PLAT. Claw set with a round cut pale blue zircon. Complemented by foliate design shoulders to each side, set with three rose cut diamonds.
Total rose diamond spread measures approximately .24 carat. Zircon measures approximately 1.00 carat. Pierced out gallery. Plain shoulders. Plain band shank.
To the reverse the sapphire and diamonds are set into open backed settings, this allows the light to shine through.
The head of the ring measures approximately 15 mm across.
This would make a beautiful dress ring and be sure to attract plenty of attention.
