Object Description
Art Deco Oval Pink Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring. Circa 1930. 18 carat yellow gold marked 18ct & Plat. Claw set with a circular cut pink sapphire. Complemented by an outer cluster of ten old cut diamonds.
Total diamond content measures approximately .40 carat. Diamonds H Colour, VS Clarity. Diamonds and sapphire are all claw set. The sapphire measures approximately .40 carat. Pierced out gallery. Knife Edge shoulders leading to a plain band shank.
To the reverse the sapphire and diamonds are set into open backed settings, this allows the light to shine through.
The head of the ring measures approximately 8mm width by 11mm depth.
This would make a beautiful engagement or dress ring and be sure to attract plenty of attention
