Object Description
Art Deco 1920’s Platinum Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring.
This beautiful cluster ring features an oval mid blue sapphire set in a millegrain rub over setting, which is complemented by an outer cluster of ten old cut diamonds, all claw set, within millegrain edging. Total diamond content measures approximately 1 carat, G/H colour and VS/SI clarity. The Sapphire measures approximately 1.50 carats. The head of the ring measures 13 mm in width and is supported by a pierced out gallery with knife edge, groove detailed shoulders leading to an unmarked platinum plain band shank. To the reverse the sapphire and diamonds are set into open backed settings, this allows the maximum amount of light to shine through.
This lovely ring would be prefect as an engagement or dress ring.
