Art Deco 1930’s Platinum and Sapphire Diamond Cluster Ring.
This beautiful cluster ring features a rectangular cut cornflower blue sapphire complemented by an outer cluster of fourteen old cut diamonds, all claw set, within millegrain edging.
The head of the ring sits on a pierced out gallery leading to plain shoulders on a plain band shank non-marked.
Total diamond content measures approximately 1 carat. Diamonds H Colour, VS/SI Clarity. Sapphire measures approximately 1.80 carats. Pierced out gallery. Plain shoulders. Plain band shank.
To the reverse the sapphire and diamonds are set into open backed settings, this allows the light to shine through.
The head of the ring measures approximately 11m across and 14mm high.
This is an unusual ring that makes a statement.
