Object Description
A fine French gorge cased gilt brass engraved carriage clock, the 8-day movement with hour strike on a gong and repeatwork. The 2 ¼ inch round enamel dial has Roman hour numerals, original blued steel Breguet style hands and is set within a beautiful foliate engraved mask.
The backplate is stamped DC for Drocourt and numbered 11108. These are repeated on the inside of the base of the case.
