Timeless Yellow Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring, Circa 1900.
Claw set with an oval cut vibrant yellow sapphire, complemented by an outer cluster of twelve old cut diamonds measuring approximately .50 carat G colour and VS clarity. The sapphire measures approximately 1 carat. The Ring has a pierced out galley, and the shoulders have a scrolled, carved decoration leading to an 18 carat yellow gold plain band shank. The head of the ring measures 10mm in width. To the reverse the sapphire and diamonds are set into open backed settings, this allows the light to shine through.
This would make a beautiful engagement or dress ring and be sure to attract plenty of attention.
