Object Description
A stunning Aquamarine and Diamond Ring, circa 1940.
Featuring a sea blue emerald cut Aquamarine of approximately 16 carats in an 18ct white gold four claw setting. Each shoulder is set with two diamonds, one baguette cut and one trillion cut, in claw settings approximately 0.30 carats, G colour and VS clarity. The decorative gallery leads to an 18ct white gold plain band shank, marked 750. The head of the ring measures 25mm in width, with the aquamarine measuring 12mm by 17mm. To the reverse the ring is set into open back setting which allows the light to shine through.
This beautiful Aquamarine would make a perfect Dress or Cocktail ring.
