Timelessly Elegant Vintage Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1940.
Claw set with a circular cut mid blue sapphire, measuring approximately 1 carat, and complemented by an outer cluster of eight claw set old cut diamonds which measure approximately 1.25 carats, H Colour and VS Clarity. The ring has a pierced out gallery, knife edge shoulders and an 18ct white gold plain band shank. The head of the ring measures 12.5mm in width. To the reverse the sapphire and diamonds are set into open backed settings, this allows the light to shine through.
This would make a beautiful engagement or dress ring and be sure to attract plenty of attention.
