Object Description
Abstract Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1940.
The head of the ring is of an abstract square shape, grain set with twenty seven old cut diamonds. The larger central diamond, measuring approximately 0.10 carat, is complemented by an outer surround of twelve diamonds and a further two rows each set with seven diamonds measuring approximately .26 carats in total. All diamonds are grain set with a plain solid gallery. Wide shoulders lead to a non marked platinum plain band shank. To the reverse the diamonds are set into open backed settings, this allows the light to shine through.
This is a striking and unusual vintage ring, which could be worn by either ladies or gentlemen.
