LAPADA Certificates of Age and Origin

Outside the EU, many countries operate reduced duties and taxes for items over 100 years old and on works of art than those levied on ordinary goods. LAPADA The Association of Art & Antiques Dealers is an internationally recognised body, issuing Certificates for Export which are accepted by customs at countries across the globe as an authentication of age for such items. The duty costs saved by using a LAPADA certificate can be considerable.

Countries where duty costs can be significantly reduced with a LAPADA Certificate include:
